Sport As A Catalyst For Innovation

Working with partners including Gevasol and D-Force, the club has already helped develop and test new technologies within a live sporting environment.

The club continues to create opportunities for businesses, innovators and entrepreneurs to collaborate, develop products and engage directly with fans and communities.

The team's current developments are all showcased at the team Innovation Centre at Gan Ner Stadium.

Creating New Sports Through Technology

The Rocky I arm wrestling device in use

Rocky I: Global Online Arm Wrestling

Hapoel HaEmek, D-Force and Gevasol joined forces to create… Rocky I. The first ever arm wrestling online simulation device, co-created by Gevasol and innovated through the team.

D-Force chose Hapoel HaEmek due to the ability to blend athletes and technology through the ownership structure to jointly work on perfecting the prototypes which are now ready for production.

Rocky I will be rolled out globally to allow fans to arm wrestle online live or even against pre-programmed competitors from the world of sport and beyond. This device will also be placed within Hapoel HaEmek's stadium as a fan activation tool so they can challenge all the players.

Tennis Simulator

The world of tennis has never been able to replicate practice indoor until our technology developed an intelligent tennis simulation system.

Having incorporated embedded sensors within the ball we were able to detect shot direction, impact force, and spin characteristics. Additionally, we designed and developed a ball-holding mechanism that accurately replicates the dynamics of a freely moving tennis ball during impact, enabling realistic training and performance analysis.

This can now be used to train solo or play with someone over the internet, meaning there are now no boundaries to playing tennis wherever you are or against whoever you want around the world.

Fitness and Wellness

Stabilitas

Stabilitas redefines how people develop control over their bodies. Traditional training is built around repetition, but repetition alone does not prepare the body for instability, pressure or changing conditions.

By creating a controlled environment where instability is intentionally introduced, Stabilitas allows every movement, correction and reaction to become measurable, providing a deeper understanding of balance, coordination and human performance.

Through real-time intelligence and adaptive technology, Stabilitas transforms movement into actionable data. As control improves, the system evolves, introducing new challenges that drive continuous adaptation and development.

Pilates Resistance Machine

Building upon a conventional Pilates machine, the aim was to create a more precise piece of equipment which allowed users to train harder and customise their workout.

This involved replacing mechanical springs with an electrically driven motorised resistance system.

This solution enables the generation of virtually unlimited resistance profiles, allowing precise customisation of force characteristics and training programs.

Smith Machine – Motor Gym

Innovating how people can train without weights by replacing them with an electric motor.

The motorised Smith Machine replaces traditional weight stacks with electric motors that allow the person training to increase performance.

The user handles are equipped with integrated sensors and control buttons, enabling real-time adjustment and regulation of the applied resistance force while monitoring user interaction and performance.

How we view sport

Sports Event Camera System

A cable-driven camera positioning system was developed for sports event broadcasting.

The system utilises multiple synchronised winches to control camera movement in three-dimensional space, providing dynamic and accurate camera positioning for live sports coverage.

We want to push the boundaries of innovation to bring fans closer to the action and feel part of every play.
