After an extraordinary season, full of challenges, achievements and significant processes in the field of supporters and community, Michal Vardiger, the club's CEO, has announced that she is stepping down from her role in order to work in other spheres of connection within Israeli society.
Michal was a significant and much-valued figure for the club and a partner in advancing a long list of key processes and issues. During her tenure she worked tirelessly to strengthen the bond with Afula and the Emek, and to create a deep and meaningful connection with the children's and youth departments and with the families and the community as a whole.
With professionalism, sensitivity and a great belief in the club's power to bring about change, Michal strengthened and deepened Hapoel HaEmek's community ethos and left a significant mark on the way the club views its supporters and its place within the community.
We thank Michal from the bottom of our hearts for the journey we shared, for her work, her commitment and the big heart she brought with her to the club. We wish her every success in the next stage of her journey and in her new endeavours, and we know that she will continue to strengthen us from the stand to which she is so deeply connected
