Full cooperation!

Eshel Levinthal, a player in our under-18 side who was among the leading scorers at the 2025 European Cadet Championship, will join the squad's training sessions next season and will split his time between the youth team and the club.

We are excited and delighted to go hand in hand with our youth department and to play a part in developing Israeli players.

Yonatan Alon, the club's technical director:

"A player from the youth department joining the senior squad is an important and significant step in the cooperation between us.

We want to give young players the opportunity to train, learn and develop in a senior team environment, while at the same time continuing to strengthen the youth department.

Eshel is a talented player with great potential, and we are pleased to be part of his journey."

Yoav Shenkman, technical director of the Gilboa Ma'ayanot youth department:

"I am very pleased that Eshel is joining the senior squad. A player from the youth department stepping up to the senior side is a direct expression of our approach and our professional vision – to develop young players and create a genuine pathway for them within the club.

Beyond the player's individual development, the move is an important example of the cooperation between the senior team and the youth department."

Another of the club's homegrown players, Shmari Barzani, who played college basketball last season and joined the squad's training sessions after the wartime break, has signed a dual-registration deal with Ironi Tiberias and the club, and will be part of the squad's training sessions this season as well.
