7.10: The squad visited the memorial site and the Heroism Shelter in Afula, in memory of the late Raz Peretz and his six soldiers

Yesterday evening the squad visited the memorial site and the Heroism Shelter in Afula, in memory of the late Raz Peretz and his six soldiers.

The squad was given a tour of the site by Noam's mother, who was Raz's fiancée, and also met his father, Roni.

During the tour the squad entered the Heroism Shelter, which was brought over from the Kissufim base, and watched a presentation on the battle in which Raz fell while displaying extraordinary bravery.

The visit was important and meaningful for the whole squad, on a day when it is so important to remember and never to forget.
