We are delighted to announce the signing of JJ Kaplan for Hapoel HaEmek – Gilboa Galil Afula!

Kaplan (29, forward, American-Jewish, 1.96m) spent last season with Maccabi Rishon LeZion, where he averaged 7.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Before that he played three seasons with Ironi Kiryat Ata, and in the 24-25 season he averaged 10.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

The club's head coach, Sharon Avrahami: "JJ played for me for three excellent seasons and he fits our DNA exactly – a battler, he defends, and he has a team-first mentality. I am sure that Kaplan will settle in superbly at HaEmek and will contribute a great deal towards achieving our goals."
